Instead of asking "which officer role would you like to take", invite a candidate to assign roles on easy-speak, talk to guests after a meeting, or write a group review for a Toastmasters club Meetup, depending on which role he or she may be a good fit for.

Repetition is magical. When you ask speakers to provide speech title and speaker intro, they may not respond. You ask again. They may still not respond but they're more likely to show up to deliver speeches.

Can you believe an email to a group is the least effcient? The order of efficiency:
  1. Talk to one person
  2. Email one person
  3. Email addressed to several people
  4. Email to a group
