The team talked about the operation in a Starbucks store. Lynn mentioned that the store may focus on different performance criterion. David mentioned that the lecture indicates the utilization at a bottleneck is 100% but in real life a bottleneck person is sometimes a slacker. Jenny talked about how important uptime in a manufacturing plant is. It is related to labor utilization.
